David and his wife Marla moved to the community in 2019. They have two grown sons, two yappy dogs and a once-feral cat. David keeps bees on the roof and when the harvest comes in, he loves to share honey with the neighbors. They of course love the rich history and vibrant culture of Harlem, but it is the kindness and friendship of the community that makes it their forever home.
David is a Wealth Manager with Cerity Partners and a Practice Leader in the NY office with nearly forty years of experience positively impacting the financial well-being of families and investing in global markets. He uses his knowledge of the investment world and tax and estate issues to help families preserve and grow their assets, with a focus and passion for multigenerational wealth transfer, intra-family succession planning and complex family dynamics. He takes pride in helping local business owners looking for advice.
Once upon a time, David attended Brown University and received a degree in International Relations. He later served as Class Treasurer and for many years led Brown’s efforts with alumni in NY State interviewing applicants on behalf of their Admissions Office.
