27th Annual House Tour * June 11, 2017

The Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association Annual House Tour started in 1989, as an initiative to combat the perception of Harlem, and put the architectural beauty of the historic district on full display.  This year’s tour on Sunday, June 11th, 2017 from 11AM to 4PM, is titled Living Legacy!  The Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association will narrate the story of the Mount Morris Park Historic District through the homes of the residents that have lived here the longest.  Their stories and their houses embody and preserve the history and legacy of this beloved neighborhood.  The tour will feature approximately 10 homes within the Mount Morris Park Historic District of Harlem, with a focus on elements in each location that celebrates the experiences that residents have to share, and highlights the architectural character and esthetic associated with Harlem homes.
